Task
A regular customer of KS SPBelt, working in the fish processing industry, made another order for the production of a storage tank, but not in the usual configuration, but with air knives for blowing the products.
Solution
We have prepared a drawing of a storage tank with air knives according to the Customer's technical specification and manufactured a conveyor for it from SPBelt warehouse components. The ML 5010PE modular belt with flights for transportation of products at an incline was used.
Air knives are installed in the upper part of the conveyor. They blow off excess moisture from the product by means of powerful and directed air flow.
The storage tank has a built-in hatch in the lower part for easy washing and maintenance of the conveyor. The equipment is also equipped with two ball valves, the lower of which is for draining water, and the upper - for filling the tub with water.
In addition, our designer provided two mounting points for additional customer equipment. One of them is required for the temperature sensor, and the other is for the check valve that maintains the water level.
Result
The customer is pleased with the KS SPBelt equipment, thanks to which he was able to improve the quality of the product by blowing off excess moisture. This helped him not only to reduce the number of rejects in production, but also to increase his profits.
