Task
A customer placed an order with us for a conveyor for transportation of meat and bone meal with a temperature of 80 degrees Celsius. We needed to produce it taking into account the customer's specified capacity.
Solution
Initially the Customer wanted to install two belt conveyors with polymer belts in the production facility. When discussing the customer's tasks, we came to the conclusion that this equipment is not suitable for transportation of the product with such a high temperature. The optimal solution is a screw conveyor.
Its principle of operation is as follows: flour is fed into the receiving hopper, then it is lifted at an incline to the required height and through the discharge hopper it reaches the next stage of the production line.
To ensure the required capacity, we used a flexible auger rather than a conventional axial auger.
Result
The customer received the screw conveyor on time, which provides the required capacity through the use of a flexible screw.
