Task
The customer needed to develop conveyor equipment that could automatically separate flows of detergents in plastic bags to optimize loading between two groups of workers.
As part of this task, we had to develop a design of a divider - a conveyor system that allows to divide product flows into two equal parts, make a drawing of this equipment and produce it.
Solution
We have produced a sorting line consisting of several types of equipment.
First of all, it is a sorting conveyor with optical and inductive sensors, pneumatic cylinders and a modular belt as a conveying element.
The conveyor consists of three parts - a straight conveyor on which all the products arrive and two curved conveyors on which the products are distributed. To ensure safety on two parts of the conveyor we have installed polycarbonate protective covers. They cover the pneumatic cylinders that distribute the flows.
After separation, the products fall on two rotary accumulation tables, where further assembly and packaging takes place. Two sliding roller conveyors are used for convenient product handling.
Result
The customer received the sorting line for the distribution of detergent streams on time, which allowed them to optimize staff utilization and speed up the production process.
